Manning Family Children’s Hospital New Orleans provides safe parking for employees, learners, patients, their families, and visitors. Medical Students park in 938 Calhoun Street designated parking spots.

All staff, providers, residents, fellows, volunteers, and students working and parking at Main Campus are REQUIRED to Pre-Register for Parking. Medical students will be directed to park in designated parking spots at the Calhoun Campus.

Manning Family Children’s Hospital Public Safety patrols the campus and can issue parking citation violations if:

  • You have parked in an unauthorized area
  • Your vehicle is taking up multiple spaces
  • Your parking decal or hang tag is not displayed
  • Inappropriate use of a hangtag (using one that is not yours, for example)
  • You fail to follow basic traffic safety (ex. speeding, not stopping at stop sign, etc.)
Children's Shuttle Service:
In response to team member feedback, several improvements have been made to Manning Family Children’s shuttle service between the Calhoun Campus and Main Campus:

  • Extended hours: Shuttle hours have been extended and now run from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m., providing more flexibility for early and late travelers.
  • Ample Parking: Over 250 parking spaces are available at Calhoun Campus, with new signage to help team members find each lot.
  • Upgraded Communication: Shuttle phones have been upgraded to resolve technical issues. To reach the shuttle driver, call 504-896-3971.
  • Established Route: We’ve set an official shuttle route for greater efficiency. Each pick-up point is clearly marked with signage (>>>click here for the signage map).
Looking ahead, Children’s is working on plans to expand shuttle capacity and are excited to announce that a shuttle tracking app is coming soon! This app will let you see the shuttle’s location in real-time right from your phone – stay tuned for more details!
