Cutover conversation

In preparation for the Go-Live in April, some employee self-service activities will be unavailable from March 3 – April 3 to allow for the transition to Workday, including: 

  • Job / status (PRN, FT, PT) 
  • Work contact information (work phone, personal email address, etc.) 
  • Home address changes 
  • Emergency contact changes 
  • Shirt size changes 
  • Veteran status changes 
  • Personal information changes
The reason for a freeze period is to allow conversion of data from current Human Resources systems to Workday. Before March 3, please make any of the listed changes within the current HR system.

Rolling with Workday training 
Team members will receive the level of preparation for Workday aligned to their job roles and the tasks they perform. Instructor-led training (ILT), webinars, self-paced, on-demand learning, and additional job aids and resources will roll out in February 2023 for those who require it. User acceptance training, manager and employee virtual demos, and functional area overview sessions are underway. Details on training available soon.

Changing Job Architecture - what it means
 
Another core element of our transformation is called Job Architecture, or the process by which we create more clearly defined and consistent roles, responsibilities, and career paths across the health system. This enables us to better support your talent mobility, career development, and succession planning. 

Beginning April 3, you may have a revised title that more accurately reflects the responsibility, knowledge and skills required for your position. You may also receive revised shift differential details for your role. We will share additional details in future communications and instructions to help you access this information. In the interim, in early March, your direct manager will contact you to share more information if these efforts apply to you. 

Get ready for the new People Service Center - April 3

The People Service Center (PSC) will be your super krewe for HR-related questions, assistance, completion of new self-service activities, and connecting you with the appropriate team member or resource for advanced requests. PSC hours will be Monday – Friday from 8am to 5pm. You’ll be able to reach out to the PSC by phone or by submitting a question via the Workday case management tool when we Go-Live.
