We ♥ our hospitalists!
National Hospitalist Day is Thursday, March 2 and we're celebrating all that our hospitalists do for our patients and our hospitals. They're the "jack of all health-related trades," gaining experience treating a broad array of problems they wouldn't get if they focused on just one specialty.
Hospitalists care for nearly 50% of all inpatients across our system. We currently employ over 56 hospitalists with many more from our academic partners.
Hospitalist is one of the fastest growing specialties in medicine. They have a huge impact on the quality of inpatient care we're able to provide every day at LCMC Health. Thank you to all our hospitalists for giving a little extra every day.
